Delicate, ethereal chardonnay with wet stone, mineral, floral, white peach, citrus and nougat flavours. Light and fresh with appealing purity together with subtle power. A very attractive Central Otago chardonnay that's been made with a light touch.

Bright straw-yellow colour with slight golden hues, lighter on the rim. The nose is elegantly concentrated with moderately deep aromas of white and yellow stonefruits, and citrus fruit entwined with a fine line of spicy, nutty oak melded with notes of lemon-curd MLF and suggestions of creamy barrel-ferment. Fullish bodied, the palate has a rich core of stonefruits and citrus fruit alongside lemon-curd MLF, along with a little creamy, nutty oak. The palate is bright and lively, and enhanced by fresh acidity. The wine flows along a very fine featured and textured line, leading to a long, lingering finish. This is a full, rich, citrus and stonefruited Chardonnay with lemon-curd MLF and creamy, nutty oak on a brisk, refreshing palate. Match with grilled and roasted seafood and poultry dishes over the next 4 years. Hand-picked fruit, WBP and fully barrel-fermented to 14.3% alc., the wine aged 9 months in 42% new French oak barriques with batonnage and full MLF conversion."
