This is the kind of wine that would make you drop your hoe in a grand cru vineyard and wonder why you’re fighting the system. It’s haunting, evocative, everything about texture and beauty in wine that absolutely can move a human. A stray glass to a stranger and they’ve joined your table. A sip to a novice and the lights flash behind their eyes. It’s an autumn breeze with sweet and savoury perfume. A gossamer sheet with meat, and bones, and flowers and freshness. You could say game meats, cherry, dried leaves, spice, but you’re not going to cover it. It’s so good, so everything that brings you into a thrall of pinot noir. So good to drink.
