Pian dell'Orino
With an undying love for Tuscany and a passion for viticulture, Pian dell'Orino has quickly become one of the finest wineries in Brunello di Montalcino. Planted across four different vineyards, their vines and resulting wines have very distinctive personalities.

Using sustainable viticultural methods to create a healthy ecosystem with a minimal carbon footprint, Pian dell'Orino takes care of each grape at every stage of the process. Once harvested, the grapes are fermented with their indigenous yeasts, before being aged in a variety of larger barrels for up to several years.

"It is admirable what Pian dell'Orino has achieved in just a few years ... In this winery Sangiovese offers a striking finesse and crystalline purity." - Robert Parker
Brunello di Montalcino
Brunello di Montalcino is a Sangiovese Italian wine produced in the vineyards surrounding the town of Montalcino in the Tuscany wine region.

The Sangiovese grape is the most widely planted grape in the Montalcino region and is the only permitted grape in the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. The particular clones of Sangiovese are unique to the Montalcino region and have developed in adaption to that area's specific terroir.

Antonio Galloni
"Pian dell'Orino's 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Versante Amiata is a wine of stunning beauty. Freshly cut flowers, red stone fruits, plums, mint, smoke, spices and rose petals jump from the glass in a captivating, perfumed Brunello that conquers all the senses. At times powerful, while at other moments more delicate, the 2010 is endowed with fabulous complexity and intrigue. With time in the glass, the 2010 turns silky, perfumed and exceptionally polished, yet there is plenty of underlying tannin and acidity in support. The flavors remain bright and lifted throughout. What else is left to say? Readers should not miss this exceptional Brunello from Pian dell'Orino."
